There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
Adam and I have spent a couple of days in London in attempt to sort the final two (three for me) in time for the Saturday leaving date. After a very unproductive Monday (arrived too late as the queue was too long and the Uzbek embassy decided to have an early lunch) we got up early today (6 am!) and got to the Russian Embassy in perfect time to be at a reasonable place in the queue. After an hour of queing Adam left to take his driving test in Cambridge and I continued to queue - obvioulsy a very active process. Two further hours later I was admitted and within 15 minutes I exited minus a lot of money but clutching a small pink piece of card.
After visiting Primark (just outside Marble Arch underground station) I went and sat under a tree for a few hours playing Lumines Block Challenge (it’s addictive) on my mobile until Adam returned and we wandered on back to the Russian Embassy where I brandished my pink piece of card and we received 4 lovely passports with extra lovely visas!
After realising there wasn’t really any physical way for me to get both the Uzbekistani and Azerbaijan visas we made a little detour (past one of those cool loos where you pay and it disinfects it in between) and consulted a young lady in an office up a long flight of stairs who listened to my plight and proclaimed she could do it by friday, easy. Woo!
Observations: centaurs are quite cool actually, the London pigeon has an interesting mating ritual involving following until the female gives in, queues are rubbish and spending money is quite fun actually - possibly should be an extreme sport.
Over and Out
P.S nearly time to go so please donate! And remember our Big Launch! This Saturday!

Wow, it sounds like I missed out! Well done guys! I’ve almost got all of the car-paperwork sorted out, and am doing our last minute car-equipment shop in the morning. Woo.

Hands up if you felt a little uncomfortable pressing the faded buzzer button and ascending stairs that got into a worse and worse state of disrepair as you went up, eventually being covered in damp marks and peeling wallpaper. All this before opening out into an airy, clean, very professional office with very helpful staff

Well, I did warn you that it looked like the kind of place that lured you in and then stole your kidneys!
Thankfully not.
